Katherine & Matt met during their time in college while attending UNH. They were actually biology lab partners throughout their freshman year. Their shared passion for nature and animals (Katherine earned her degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology, while Matt earned a degree in Zoology) and spending time outdoors, along with a shared love of life in New England, led to becoming a couple. They even got to sit next to each other during their college graduation and celebrate how far they’d come in just those first couple of years!

Fast forward a few years to the Summer of 2018 when I met Katherine & Matt while shooting the wedding of their good friends, Katie and Craig at Waterville Valley. I was so happy when they reached out asking me to shoot their engagement session and their fall wedding on Saturday September 28, 2019 at Pat’s Peak in beautiful Henniker, NH. Their wedding was marked by peak fall foliage, crisp autumn air, and an abundance of green with the ski mountain looming in the background. Katherine and Matt had a really fun wedding party comprised of family and friends, and included their dog Luna (who served as “Flower Dog”!), and Katherine’s 21 month-old niece Isabelle, as Flower Girl.
