Phillips Exeter Academy, David E. and Stacey L. Goel Center for Theater and Dance

With all of my spring weddings postponed, I finally got around to shooting the Goel Center in Exeter, something that I had been meaning to do for some time. Some of you may recall that the building is located where PEA’s tennis courts used to be, right on Front Street.

Phillips Exeter Academy’s Goel Center for Theater & Dance is a new 58,550 SF, five-level building that boasts cutting-edge performance, teaching, rehearsal, technical and public spaces, as well as a large main stage with a 350-seat performance space with an orchestra pit.

Designed by New York Architects Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects Partners, the project is targeting LEED Gold Certification as a result of the numerous energy-efficient and sustainable design features.

Also check out this LEGO on the building. How cool is that?!
